Abstract
Two triterpenoids and a quinone isolated from the leaf, stem bark and fruit extracts of Ficus natalensis subsp. natalensis, a medicinal fig found in Africa showed broad spectrum antibacterial activity. The crude extracts showed good anti-biofilm activity in the assays carried out.
