Abstract
⺠We studied the effects of slash management treatments on Ips perturbatus in Picea glauca. ⺠Higher levels of attack and emergence occurred on dispersed logs compared to decked logs. ⺠Higher levels of attack and emergence occurred on the tops of logs. ⺠Higher levels of attack and emergence occurred on large diameter logs. ⺠Attacks appear regulated by the apparency and accessibility of host material.
