Abstract
⺠We examined changes at the molecular level of a traditionally-managed palm species. ⺠Traditional management of Brahea dulcis increases its genetic diversity. ⺠In managed palm populations natural hybridization was detected. ⺠Different management regimes of B. dulcis promote its clonal growth.
