Abstract
New populations of the lizard Sceloporus goldmani, from Aguascalientes, Jalisco and Zacatecas, México, representing new state records are reported. Additionally, a new locality for San Luis Potosà and the altitudinal record for the species. This species was believed extinct due to the failure to find specimens recently, so the populations previously reported in the states of Coahuila, Nuevo León and San Luis Potosà have probably been extirpated due to habitat destruction.
