Abstract
We consider one- and two-dimensional minimal models of a phytoplankton-zooplankton dynamical system subject to boundary forced oscillations in the prey. As a consequence, waves propagate in the space dimensions in both species. The difference between the peaks and the troughs are at times of orders of magnitude.
