Abstract
In conclusion, vertical mixing was shown to play a significant role in protecting algae under low ozone concentrations, lessening photoinhibition by UVB radiation. The differences between laboratory and field experiments are discussed in terms of the relative significance of UVB-R dose and dose rate on both types of experiments.
