Abstract
By using a coating process, so-called substrate induced coagulation (SIC), thin layer electrodes of defined thickness can be prepared. After a short introduction in the process itself, first results with the electrode material Li4Ti5O12 are presented. Future application areas and the advantages of electrodes made by the SIC process are discussed.
