Abstract
In this paper, an approximate technique is used to obtain pressure and velocity distribution in the cathode chamber of PEM fuel cells. The technique is based on polynomial profile approximation. The technique predicts two dimensional pressure and velocity distribution in closed form as a function of independent variables. The approximate solution developed compares reasonably with the rigorous numerical solution.
