Abstract
- Immune response induced by a live attenuated vaccine were investigated in zebrafish.
- Antigen recognition and uptake both occurred in immune organs and antigen-contact tissues.
- Intestine might be an antigen presentation site with a delayed response apart from immune organs.
- Immune cells activated in immune organs might migrate to antigen-contact tissues for protection.
- Antibodies were either produced at antigen-contact tissues or in immune organs.
