Abstract
⺠Isolate and characterize two cDNA (IRAK-4 and IL-1β) from roughskin sculpin. âºÂ Both genes were broadly expressed in all the examined tissues. âºÂ Both genes increased significantly in main immune organs post LPS injection. ⺠The existence and importance of TLR signaling in teleost fish brain was firstly evidenced. ⺠IRAK-4-mediated TLR signaling may play an important role in host innate immune response.
