Abstract
⺠Arabioxlan-oligosaccharides are a newly discovered class of candidate prebiotics. ⺠We assessed the effects of AXOS-32-0.3 or AXOS-3-0.25 in juvenile Acipenser baerii. ⺠AXOS-32-0.30 improved growth and significantly enhanced innate immune responses. ⺠AXOS-32-0.30 stimulated the growth of lactic acid bacteria and Clostridium sp. ⺠The immune effects of AXOS could be related to its fermentation by these bacteria.
