Abstract
► Spiroplasma is a novel crustacean pathogen infection of Macrobrachium rosenbergii. ► Flow cytometry was used to detect the immune responses of hemocytes. ► THC changed obviously during the spiroplasma MR-1008 inoculation for 28 days. ► Three distinct sub-populations in hemocytes could be identified by flow cytometry. ► Three sub-populations showed differential involvement according to the pathogen.
