Abstract
► Feeding dietary MacroGard® did not affect apoptotic levels in carp leucocytes. ► MacroGard® alone influenced the expression of apoptotic genes. ► LPS, Poly(I:C), Aeromonassalmonicida alone/with MacroGard® affects apoptosis in immune organs. ► New insights into carp apoptosis in relation to PAMPs. ► Combination of MacroGard® and PAMPs influences gene expression related to apoptosis.
