Abstract
⺠Five newly-cloned LITAFs in addition to previous one are identified. ⺠Each CgLITAF has two CXXC motifs except for CgLITAF2. ⺠CgLITAF family member show distinct tissues- and PAMPs induced expression. ⺠This study reveals CgLITAF's ancient origin and diversified role in host defense.
