Abstract

âº A TCTP gene of orange-spotted grouper, Epinephelus coioides (Ec-TCTP) was cloned and characterized. âº Ec-TCTP was distributed predominantly in the cytoplasm. âº Ec-TCTP protected cell death induced by cycloheximide (CHX). âº Ec-TCTP could inhibit the replication of Singapore grouper iridovirus(SGIV).
