Abstract
► Recombinant FlaA, B, D, and E of Vibrio anguillarum were purified from E. coli. ► All four proteins, were recognized by serum from rat infected with V. anguillarum. ► rFlaB protected flounders against vibriosis. ► Antibodies induced by the flagellins blocked V. anguillarum infection in vitro. ► rFlaE enhanced the immune response of an Edwardsiella tarda subunit vaccine.
