Abstract
► A homolog of MyD88 (FcMyD88) was firstly reported in Penaeid shrimp. ► Antibody of FcMyD88 was prepared. ► FcMyD88 is responsive to both bacteria and WSSV injection which suggested its important function in shrimp immunity.
