► Three novel chemokine receptor sequences have been identified in rainbow trout. ► The CCR6 homologue identified is expressed in thymus, gills, hindgut and PBLs. ► The CCR9B described represents another lineage of fish CCR9 genes. ► A teleost-specific chemokine receptor identified has been designated as CCR13.
