Abstract
Chloroperoxidase (CPO) was immobilized by konjac glucomannan (KGM) on the 1-butyl-3-methyl imidazolium tetrafluoroborate [BMIM][BF4]/Nafion modified glassy carbon electrode. The electrochemical behaviors of the immobilized CPO were investigated by cyclic voltammetry. The results showed that CPO was successfully immobilized on the GCE and underwent fast direct electron transfer reactions with the formal potential at −0.3 V vs. SCE. The modified electrode showed a good catalytic activity for electrocatalytical reduction of O2 and H2O2.
