Abstract
The adsorption of VB12 onto CMK-3 was studied as a function of temperature and initial VB12 concentration. The highest VB12 adsorption capacity was determined as 353.4 mg/g at 40 °C. Adsorption data were well described by the Langmuir model, although they could be modelled by the Freundlich equation. The pseudo-first-order and pseudo-second-order kinetic models were applied to test the experimental data. The pseudo-second-order kinetic model provided the best correlation of the experimental data compared to the pseudo-first-order model.
