Abstract
•Invertebrates rely on the innate immune system to fight against pathogens.•The adaptivity or memory of immune responses is the hallmark of only vertebrates.•Invertebrate is assumed to have immune memory similar in kind to that in vertebrate.•We provided evidences of memory-like phenomenon in the invertebrate Artemia.
