Abstract
Delaware Technical & Community College's Associate Degree Nursing Program has made strides to combat the nursing shortage by increasing their admission rates by 40%. This expansion called for additional full-time nursing instructors; however, resources were limited. This inspired the Department Chair of Nursing to conceptualize a bridge faculty position. Using Betty Neuman's systems theory as a conceptual framework, bridge faculty were successfully integrated into an existing faculty structure.
