Abstract
The purpose of this article is to discuss the implementation of a journal club in associate degree nursing program clinical conferences. The benefits to students and instructors are examined, including the effective use of time, professional development opportunities, promotion of critical thinking, and encouraging the use of research and evidenced-based nursing to improve nursing care. Associate degree nursing students have reacted positively to the incorporation of a journal club in clinical conferences.
