Abstract
The use of a novel board game, called “Steps of Success,” is discussed as a peer mentoring tool. Students progress through the game by answering questions about strategies that promote a nursing student's ability to achieve academic success. Freshman and senior nursing students in an associate degree nursing program played the game together during peer mentoring labs. A questionnaire used to assess student feedback suggests that playing the game benefits both groups.
