Abstract
Educators utilize various approaches when implementing the concept of remediation in associate degree programs of nursing. Consequently, many forms of remediation are used throughout a student's academic progression. In light of the declining National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurse pass rates, a standardized definition of remediation is needed. This article will analyze the concept of remediation utilizing the Wilsonian technique of concept analysis, rendering a definition of remediation and recommendations for its use.
