Abstract
The purpose of this article is to describe the implementation of a pilot project in an associate degree nursing program that uses a basic research project as the means to teach students about research concepts and the research process. By incorporating this project in the curricula, students were able to display a better understanding of nursing research findings and to enhance their utilization of evidence-based nursing practice.
