Abstract
We report the hierarchical assembly of Au nanoparticles on carboxylized carbon nanotubes (c-CNTs) through Cu2+ coordination. The resulting Au@c-CNT nanohybrids exhibit a remarkable synergy in SERS compared to neat Au nanoparticles.
