Abstract
We present NaSbS2 as a non-toxic, earth-abundant absorber material for thin film photovoltaics. It consists of covalently bonded (1/â) [SbS2-] polymeric chains held together by sodium ions, featuring easy dissolution in water due to the ionic nature and fast carrier transport along the covalent backbone. The optoelectronic properties of NaSbS2 film were carefully studied, and a prototype substrate solar cell was successfully built.
