Abstract
Replacing one of the phenyl rings of the lead compound 1 with cyclopropyl results in compounds with much improved inhibition efficiency, the diphenyl fragment at the P3 position and the substituents at the second phenyl ring also contribute significantly to the bioactivity improvement.
