Abstract
The incorporation of the electron-accepting B element with a vacant p orbital and the electron-donating N element with a lone pair into the Ï-conjugated system is an efficient strategy to construct organic optoelectronic materials with intense intramolecular charge-transfer transitions and thus intriguing properties. This short review summarizes the recent progress in this field according to the structural features of Ï-systems.71
