Abstract
A 2.5-year-old female rabbit was presented with a history of intermittent anorexia and gastrointestinal stasis. An ovariohysterectomy was performed 9 months before the initial presentation for gastrointestinal problems. At 15 months postovariohysterectomy, abdominal radiographic images and ultrasonography revealed an enlarged left kidney with a dilated pelvis and ureter. During a laparotomy procedure, adhesions were identified between the broad ligament of the uterus and the middle section of the left ureter, causing obstruction of urine flow. A left ureteronephrectomy was performed, and no calculus was found inside the ureter. Histopathological examination of the adhesions, ureter, and kidney did not reveal any signs of neoplasia or infection.
