Abstract
⺠The Hytrosaviridae are a family of dsDNA viruses with a circular 120-190 kbp genome. ⺠Phylogeny unequivocally supports common ancestry of baculoviruses and nudiviruses. ⺠Hytrosaviridae share a number of gene homologues with other dsDNA viruses. ⺠Most of the shared genes are with baculoviruses and nudiviruses.
