Abstract
⺠Initial frequency of resistance alleles to Cry2Ab was 0.001 in Helicoverpa species. ⺠Within 7 years Cry2Ab resistance alleles in H. punctigera increased significantly. ⺠Cotton varieties producing Vip3A may help manage resistance to Cry proteins.
