Abstract
⺠It was carried out a pathological study of the mangrove oyster Crassostrea rhizophorae in Pacoti River Estuary, Ceará, Brazil. ⺠The oysters Crassostrea rhizophorae from the Pacoti River Estuary, Ceará, are infected by a protozoan of genus Perkinsus. ⺠Nematopsis was the protozoan found in the highest prevalence. ⺠The analyzed oysters presented high prevalences of Polydora sp.
