Abstract
⺠Forager-aged honey bees had high intensity and prevalence of Nosema ceranae infection. ⺠Adult nurse bees exhibited lower levels of N. ceranae. ⺠N. ceranae was never found in recently-emerged adult honey bees. ⺠Individual infection prevalence correlated positively to sample infection intensity.
