First identification of isatin-β-thiosemicarbazones as novel inhibitors of New Delhi metallo-β-lactamase-1: Chemical synthesis, biological evaluation and molecular simulation

A series of isatin-β-thiosemicarbazone compounds were identified as novel inhibitors of New Delhi metallo-β-lactamase-1. The structure-activity relationship and possible binding mode were also established for further rational design of new inhibitors.
