Abstract
A real time monitoring system for microbial viability would be of relevance for pathogenic and spoilage microorganisms as well as probiotics. This paper demonstrates the potential to use a bioluminiscent microorganism to evaluate the effectiveness of decontamination systems and possibly leading to their optimization.
