Abstract
⺠It is a new technology to enhance ayurvedic products' safety and quality. ⺠Chyavanaprash is exposed to ionizing radiation to extend the shelf-life without changing the nature of the product. ⺠It did not cause any significant change in the proximate, chemical and sensory properties of irradiated chyavanaprash.
