Abstract
⺠We identify and resolve degeneracy issues in nonmetric unfolding. ⺠We formulate stability measures for nonmetric unfolding solutions. ⺠We use the stability measures to obtain stable nondegenerate nonmetric unfolding solutions. ⺠We introduce methods for visualizing stability estimates in nonmetric unfolding. ⺠We illustrate the power of our methodology by applying it to three data sets.
