Abstract
This article gives a useful methodology to simultaneously analyse sensory profiles provided by several panels. This methodology is based on multiple factor analysis (MFA) which allows obtaining dimensions of variability for the products common to all the panels as well as a products’ representation according to each panel. Confidence ellipses are constructed around products seen by each panel which allow evaluating the reproducibility of the sensory descriptions of the panels from a multidimensional point of view.
