Abstract
⺠A dry-inoculation method for tree nuts was developed. ⺠Dry inoculation eliminates the need for the postinoculation drying. ⺠Salmonella survival was similar for both wet- and dry-inoculation methods. ⺠Dry inoculation may better mimic some routes of nut contamination.
