Abstract
⺠A Monte Carlo model of listeriosis from ready-to-eat deli meats was developed. ⺠Goal of model was to meet fixed appropriate level of protection (ALOP) goal. ⺠Model incorporated root finding approach for each uncertainty iteration ⺠Uncertainty distribution of performance objective established for given ALOP ⺠Increasing uncertainty led to significantly lower performance objectives.
