Abstract
► Disinfection of P. oxalicum spores inoculated on wheat grains was conducted using supercritical CO2. ► Amount of water cosolvent was the most significant parameter for spore inactivation. ► Optimal disinfection conditions produced a 6.41 log10 CFU reduction of P. oxalicum spores inoculated on wheat grains. ► Addition of water cosolvent resulted in lower germination yields such as 0 to 32.5%.
