Abstract
► HNoV persists on raspberries, not strawberries, at 21 °C constituting disease outbreaks. ► Decay of hNoV GI.4 as compared with hNoV GII.4 was more pronounced on strawberries. ► Due to viral persistence low hNoV levels may lead to infection after berry consumption.
