Abstract
⺠Bayesian and maximum likelihood methods are compared with Most Probable Number data. ⺠Large biases in parameter estimates were observed with the maximum likelihood estimator. ⺠The bias increased as the proportion of samples non-detects increased. ⺠OpenBUGS computer code for the Bayesian method is provided.
