Abstract
⺠We show marine BDH12 and BDHSH06 belong to none of the known BALOs genera. ⺠Both strains display biological characteristics of typical marine BALOs. ⺠They lyse Vibrio parahaemolyticus, Vibrio cholerae and Vibrio alginolyticus tested. ⺠An elimination test shows their application feasibility in oyster safety control.
