Abstract
⺠Probiotic potential of dairy Weissella confusa and Lactobacillus paracasei strains. ⺠Weissella confusa strains were resistant to TMP-SMX. ⺠High intrinsic sensibility to low (gastric) pH and protective effect of skimmed milk. ⺠Intrinsic resistance of the selected strains to bile was better than expected. ⺠Good adhesion to both vaginal and intestinal epithelia.
