Abstract
⺠Impact of glycated pea proteins on gut microbiota is reported for the first time. ⺠The glycated pea proteins changed the composition of gut bacteria. ⺠The glycated pea proteins altered the metabolic activity of gut bacteria. ⺠These glycated proteins are potential beneficial modulators of gut microbiota. ⺠Data necessitate updating the role of these proteins in gut homeostasis.
