Abstract
► The objective was to determine Campylobacter prevalence in poultry meat in Iran. ► Campylobacter spp. were found in 49.7% of poultry meat samples. ► The most prevalent Campylobacter spp. was C. jejuni. ► Compared to other poultry meats, Campylobacter spp. was more prevalent in chicken. ► 96.6% of Campylobacter isolates were resistant to one or more antimicrobial agent.
