Abstract
⺠The objective was to determine Campylobacter prevalence in poultry meat in Iran. ⺠Campylobacter spp. were found in 49.7% of poultry meat samples. ⺠The most prevalent Campylobacter spp. was C. jejuni. ⺠Compared to other poultry meats, Campylobacter spp. was more prevalent in chicken. ⺠96.6% of Campylobacter isolates were resistant to one or more antimicrobial agent.
