Abstract
⺠Consumers' knowledge about fish and aquaculture in particular is rather limited. ⺠Knowledge about fish differed significantly across investigated EU countries. ⺠Quality and food safety label are most interested as information cues when buying fish. ⺠Labelling and sellers are the most frequently used information sources about fish.
